Grande abbraccio
Thank you so much Brian for passing by.
Ciao Luigi, mi fa molto piacere il tuo commento, grazie mille . Ciaoo
Kathryn , this is quite a compliment!!! Lately I am painting more with oil than with watercolor, but I have no technics, no knowledge, I just try to make something nice and I really enjoy this different technic.
Oil--you do these beautifully, too--I can almost smell these. (I commented on the last two posts; evidently, the comments disappeared somewhere in computerland.) The previous painting was inspiring; made me want to get out the watercolors.
ciao cara come stai? Guardo sempre i tuoi lavori e li trovo tutti bellissimi . Passi dall'acquerelli agli oli con fantasia e bellezza. Un bacio mia cara
Grazie Franz per i tuoi commenti sempre carini. Ciao e buona serata!
Dear Hallie, DO get out your watercolors, you post so rarely, would like to see you more often.
Padmaja I am really glad you appreciate the painting, thanks for passing! Big hug
Hi Carmelina, thanks for passing by, I am now following you, too :-)
Bill , thanks for your enthusiastic comment :-) In fact I painted this while sitting in the garden , but looking on a photo I had found inspiration in from the Internet.
Hi Debra. I love both oil and watercolor, but in periods ( like this one ) I don't have much inspiration with watercolor, so I turn to other medias like oil or pastels...' waiting for a miracle to come' like Leonard Cohen sings :-)

RispondiEliminaJane, my first reaction to this was likening it to van Gogh's style. It is such a boldly painted work. Bravo!
