Lovely loose urban scenes! It is interesting to see how you painted these so freely. For me the straight lines and details in buildings have always been a bit of a challenge to simplify.
Well, here comes another Roger. I love those two watercolor paintings, they got great character and they have a lot of atmosphere. Love the blue shadows in the first one.
Gorgeous these two watercolor paintings. Love them both. But the first one is my fav. In this painting the sun is shining, beautiful bright colors, love it. Lovely greet Marja www.marjascreativity.blogspot.com
Love the loose feel of these paintings, very good. I enjoy taking workshops, particularly as I most enjoy seeing what and how other people go about their art.
Hi Jane, thank you so much for visiting my blog for the nice comment. You are very kind. You have many lovely works in watercolor, congratulations. You are so talented. Hugs
Gorgeous simplified architecture here, Jane - love this simple, skillful approach. I have to admit, I'm a little jealous of the sureness in your work. Both of these are stunning examples of what you do - I'm a big fan, keep it up! ♥
Ciao Jane!
It's really beautiful Jane! I love these bright colors, with the shades and the harmony, the stairs are supporting all this perfection of the first watercolor. Bravo!
Superbe!
RispondiEliminaMagnifique.

Merci Isabelle très gentille.
Renata I don't think I ever did a painting without putting some red in it, well almost :-) I do like red in paintings.
L.W.Roth I'm glad you like the simplicity..I was worried maybe it was a bit too simple :-)
