C'è vita lì fuori.../ There's life out there...

Dopo un paio di settimane con  freddo  e neve intenso  sembra che il 'peggio' sia passato, tra poco confido in un piacevolissimo esplosione di bulbi  in giardino!

After a couple of weeks of  intense cold and snow it seems that the 'worst' is over, in a very short time there will be a wonderful explosion of bulbs in the garden!

  8. Hello Jane, oh the hyacinth is so pretty and you can almost smell it. I see it is oil way to go my friend. The poor Helleborus, little things head in the snow but the daffy? Man those things are tough arne't they, they can stand up to the snow well. Spring is coming yea. Hugs

  15. Dear Jane, I am so happy for you - that horrible cold is passing! The flowers are always amazing, coming through even after such weather. And your hyacinthus is so very beautiful - I love the lines and colors of the leaves and the delicacy of the flowers.
    It is such a wonderful and intimate painting.

  20. C'est très belle, Jane. J'aime bien le point de vue que tu as choisi avec le récipient qui contient le bulbe et sa forme de losange, comme une fontaine d'où naît le mouvement sinueux et vivant de la plante et tes coups de pinceau sûres et décidés.

  22. Jane la época de los jacintos se acerca y tú has realizado un óleo con una gran profundidad, el fondo oscuro hace que la flor luzca. Besos.
