These two watercolors are not recent, and I didn't like them the way they were. But adding a tree and the snow gave life to a rather dull painting in my opinion.
RispondiEliminaThey look awesome. There is something magical about that snow. Well done. Very atmospheric .
RispondiEliminagroetjes,
Simonne
It is so interesting how revisiting a work can change both it and the way you feel about it. These look fresh and vital to me. I really like the bottom one with the great contrasts. Complimenti!
RispondiEliminaI agree - the snow adds so much depth and a sense of peacefulness to these paintings.
RispondiEliminaHi Jane,
RispondiEliminathese are really interesting paintings to me.
I've neverer painted snow scene, I wish I could paint like this.
I agree too. Love the trees and snow.
RispondiEliminamagnifici paesaggi!!Mi piace molto!

Bacione
RispondiEliminaThese are so good they made me shiver
RispondiEliminaUn abrazo.
Good move adding the tree and the snow. They have injected so much mood, atmosphere and mystery.
RispondiEliminaThese are lovely paintings. I love snow and Winter is my favourite season and I agree with the others, these are so serene and at the same time very atmospheric.
RispondiEliminaI don't remember seeing the originals, it would have been interesting to see the value addition if you had shared them, beautiful works, love them both!
RispondiEliminaYou are right Padmaja , in fact the originals were never posted, but if you try and imagine these two without the trees and the snow...you have the original painting. xx
EliminaCaspita,ma sono bellissimi!Sono poetici,brava Jane!
RispondiEliminaHoi Jane,
RispondiEliminaheel mooi hoor goed gedaan.
groetjes Marja
That is very inspiring, Jane. To take a piece of work and really evaluate it, making it better. Bravo!
RispondiEliminaDos bellísimos trabajos. Me gustan mucho. Enhorabuena! Un abrazo.
RispondiEliminaLovely, Jane!!! Whatever you did, they are not dull at all now.
RispondiEliminaVery beautiful snow paintings !!!
RispondiEliminaHave a nice weekend and new month !!!
Wonderful snow scenes Jane!! To go back to a painting and change it like this is amazing!
RispondiEliminaJane, these are beautiful! I love the use of neutrals enhanced by a little color. To me, they both have an oriental feel. Wonderful foresight to see what could be changed or added.
RispondiEliminaJane, I love the mood in both works! Beautiful job creating the snow!
RispondiEliminaTwo beautiful watercolors, Jane...I love the colors in the second one...the pinks and oranges are outstanding.
RispondiEliminaHola, Jane. Besos.
RispondiEliminaAMBAS HERMOSAS...PERO LA PRIMERA ME FASCINA, Y ME ATRAPA...
RispondiEliminaABRAZOS, Y FELICIDADES, JANE.
Wonderful changes! I would have thought you always wanted them this way! xx
RispondiEliminaUn abrazo
WOW Jane I do love these both paintings so much. Love the beautiful scenes and colors. Really great art work
RispondiEliminalovely greet and nice Sunday
Marja
Pozdrawiam
RispondiEliminaBoth watercolors are beautiful to me. Yours.
oh no, no, no .... no "let it snow
RispondiElimina, "spring is in the air" .... is what we want ...... I want ☺
But, they are beautifully Jane ☺☺
Interestingly, before I read your text, I thought that it's the trees that give these paintings the Jane Moller style. this definitely added interest and tuned them into beautiful paintings!
RispondiEliminaI had a couple of days off and what did I miss... Only a bit of excitement here on jane's blog!!!
RispondiEliminaWhat a difference the snow makes. You brought a specific mood to both the paintings by adding the snow. How clever! May I steal the idea? In fact we may be all seeing snow added to our blander landscapes.
Well, I certainly like these now--love the bottom one.
RispondiEliminaThey are very nice paintings :)
RispondiEliminaVery nice work.
RispondiEliminawow Jane!!!!!So beautiful your snow paintings. You are a big big big talent, and i see your love in your paintings!!!A big big bravo and 1.000.000*for you!!!!

je te souhaite une belle semaine Jane
Dear Jane - there is certainly nothing dull or plain about these lovely snow scenes. I especially adore the one with the pink cast - so beautiful. Thanks as always for sharing.
RispondiEliminaJane, the first painting is truly stunning! Something about trees and snow...there is such a quietness...and the colors you used are PERFECT! I am so impressed with this one.
RispondiEliminaJeg kan rigtig godt li` begge malerier.
RispondiEliminaDe ER da gode.
Tak for kigget.
Ha´ en dejlig aften.
La neve ha sempre fascino in pittura! Buona domenica, Arianna
