Oggi ho ricevuto una bella notizia.Questo dipinto è stato scelto con altri 49  membri dell' 'Associazione Italiana Acquerellisti' per una mostra nella bellissima città di Verona,  per l'esattezza nel 'Museo Miniscalchi Erizzo'.
La mostra si terrà dal 12 al 27 Novembre 2011, e l'inaugurazione avrà luogo sabato 12 Novembre alle ore 17.00.
Orari d'apertura in seguito tutti i giorni dalle ore 11.00 alle 13.00 e dalle 16.00 alle 19.00 esclusi sabato  19 e 26 Novembre.

Today I received some good news. This painting was selected together with other 49 members of the 'Italian Watercolor Society' for an exposition due to take place in the beautiful  city of Verona, in the  'Museo  Miniscalchi Erizzo'.
The exposition will take place from the 12th until the 27th of November 2011, and the opening will be on  Saturday the 12th of November at 17.00 pm
Opening hours will be every day from 11.00 am until 13.00pm  - and from 16.00 pm until19.00 pm.

Settembre è stato un bellissimo mese per quanto riguarda la temperatura a Milano, non troppo caldo , ma molto piacevole, per cui ho spostato il mio 'atelier'  fuori in giardino , ed ho così  scoperto il mio posto ideale per dipingere.

September was a beautiful month regarding temperature   in Milan, not too hot but very pleasant, so I took my 'Atelier' out  in the garden, and thus found my ideal place where to paint.

As often happens when I paint two  versions of the same subject,  I don't know which one to post, so here they are both of them...you choose.:-)

Malgrado la grande tranquillità della mia casetta danese, durante l'estate l'ispirazione è stata piuttosto scarsa, più che acquerellare in grande libertà ho preferito disegnare e colorare con i pastelli. Uno dei risultati è questo.  C'è da dire che la mia attenzione spesso è stata distratta da animali vari in giardino, una varietà infinita di uccelli, scoiattoli a volontà, volpi, e addiratura un daino (vedere foto).









In spite of the peacefulness of my summerhouse   inspiration was very low during summer, and instead of painting with  watercolors I preferred sketching and doing pastels , one of the results is this one.And I have to say that my attention was very often distracted by some animal in the garden, a great variety of birds , squirrels, foxes and even a deer ( see photo).

Cari amici. Eccomi qui,  è passato parecchio tempo, e non vedevo l'ora di riprendere il contatto con tutti voi. Finalmente oggi ho  riavuto il mio prezioso  computer rimasto in riparazione per quasi una settimana da quando sono tornata , e  quale modo migliore di ricominciare che non con un autoritratto , giusto per rinfrescarvi un po la memoria... :-))

Dear friends. A lot of time has passed by, and I have  really been looking forward to taking up contact with all of you again . Finally today I got my precious little  computer back from almost one week of repair, and what better way than starting with a self portrait,  just  in order to startle your memory... :-))

Sono in partenza per il mio paese d'origine, la Danimarca, e volevo lasciarvi con delle belle immagini del posto, ma il mio computer ha deciso proprio oggi di rompersi definitivamente, perciò vi lascio solamente con un affettuoso augurio di  buona estate a tutti .Cercherò di commentare i vostri post appena possibile  e ci 'rivedremo' a settembre.

Dear friends.

I'm leaving for Denmark, and I wanted to post some pretty images of the location, but my computer decided to break down today, so I just wish you all  a wonderful and happy summer . I will comment on your post whenever possible and 'see' you again in september.
