Both your paintings are really beautiful. I especially like the first one. It reminds me of Turner (I once had a great time working on Turner with a friend of mine and my son)... I wish I could say all this in Italian, but I only understand il passively.
Pozdrawiam serdecznie. I like both, but if I had to choose one, it would be the second. It is for me the sun. Yours sincerely.
Ciao, ciao, abbracci, Floriana
Beautiful landscapes, Jane! How different the mood is in both. The first scene in oil brings mystery and expectation. The watercolor feels light and happy. This may be my perception, of course.
Hola Jane.
Bises.
I liked your oil painting more than the watercolor in this case. Selection of color is superb in oil. In case of the watercolor you kept some white in between the mountain and sky. I think if you use light shade of blue to create some slope it will give feel of distant snow capped mountain.
Both are pretty and so glad you are painting with your creative muse hard at work here. The oil is my fave but you know I like everything you do. Glad you liked my fairy xoxoxo
Elvi
Dear Jane:) How beautiful you landscapes are!! Especially the second because of that wonderful sky and the water is so well done. Great job and great art! xx
Both these landscapes are beautiful, very serene. I really like the colours in the first one.

Dos bellos paisajes Jane! Abrazos.
RispondiEliminaReally like both paintings, but have to say the oil is super lovely.
Buona domenica, Arianna
RispondiEliminaTwo landscapes, one light and sunny, the other heavy with clouds. It's interesting how small things can set the tone, well done.

EliminaBeautiful work Jane. The colors in the first one are so deep and rich and warm...I just love it!
RispondiEliminaYour oil painting is superb, Jane. What a beautiful, brooding landscape!
RispondiEliminaDid you use a reference photo, or is it from your imagination?
Kathryn xxx
i really like the oil, jane. knowing nothing about oil painting, i wonder why you paint on cardboard as opposed to something more archival?
RispondiEliminaI liked your oil painting more than the watercolor in this case. Selection of color is superb in oil. In case of the watercolor you kept some white in between the mountain and sky.
