La mia intenzione era quella di dipingere un'astratto, ma non è venuto fuori bene, perciò ho tramutato il  'pasticcio' in un vaso con fiori  :-)

The intention was to paint an abstract, but the result was terrible , so I changed the mess into a vase with flowers :-)

Ho eseguito questo sketch da una foto dell'attrice Scarlet Johansson , ma come potete ben vedere, la somiglianza è ben poca....

I did this sketch with a reference photo of the actress Scarlet Johansson, but as you can see, there is no great  likeness ....

Questo dipinto è stato una vera sfida essendo un soggetto molto diverso dalle mie solite, ma mi sono divertita tantissimo a creare questa nuvola di fumo. Contrariamente a quello che credevo il fumo non è grigio e basta , ma è fatto di tante sfumature di colore.

This painting was a real challenge being the subject quite different from what I am used to painting, but I had a lot of fun creating this cloud of smoke, and contrary to what I thought, smoke is not only grey, but full of nuances of colors.

Ho dipinto il secondo acquerello nel 2009, ed è uno dei post più cliccate. Ho deciso di fare una versione nuova in versione più grande, ed ha subito trovato 'ospitalità' a casa di un'amica.

I painted the second watercolor in 2009 and it is one of the most viewed on my blog , so I decided to do a new and bigger version , and she immediately found 'hospitality' in the home of a friend .

Quest'anno ho partecipato al concorso 'Primavera 2012 ' svoltasi alla galleria Eustachi  di Milano, ed ho avuto il grandissimo piacere di vincere una coppa per il 4° posto....è stata decisamente una buona giornata :-))) L'esposizione sarà aperta fino al 28 aprile .

I have been participating  in the competition 'Spring 2012' which was held at the 'Galleria Eustachi'  in Milan and was very pleased to win a cup for the 4th place....that made my day :-))) The exposition will be open till the 28th of april.

I copied this watercolor some time ago from the very talented artist Janet Walsh , and the painting was published in the french magazine l'Art de l'Aquarelle .
