Questo dipinto è un 'remake' di un'altro che feci qualche anno fa, l'ho cambiato un po, per esempio manca un ponte in primo piano, in quanto l'originale era stato copiato da un libro di insegnamento. Credo che l'autore del libro non  possa riconoscere questo come derivante da lui , ma nel caso...credo che sia giusto dirlo .

This painting is a remake of another one I did a few years ago. I changed it a bit, taking away the bridge which was in front close up, as the original painting was copied from a learning book. Having changed the painting  quite a bit I don't think the author of the book would  recognize this as deriving from him , but in any case better mention it .

Mi sono spremuta il cervello per trovare un titolo a questi due lavori, ma missione fallita! Avete qualche idea?

I really tried hard to find a title for these two works, but mission failed! Does somebody  have an idea?

Confesso di aver 'lottato' molto con  gli occhi, e non sono venuti proprio come dovevano. Ma siccome la carta è di una qualità molto fine  rischiavo di rovinare tutto insistendo troppo, per cui ho deciso di pubblicare il ritratto così com' è venuto e al limite riprovare un'altra volta.


I confess I have been struggling quite a lot with the eyes, they didn't turn out exactly the way they should have. But being the paper of a thinner quality I didn't want to take the risk of ruining it  altogether, so I decided to show the portrait just the way it is, and eventually try another time.

E un soggetto che mi piace molto...la profondità di un bosco può dare luogo a tantissime interpretazioni, ed infatti è un soggetto che ho già esplorato varie volte ....


The subject is one of my favorites...the depth of a forest can be interpreted in so many ways, and in fact I already did quite a few ....

Questo doveva essere un autoritratto, ma  non è molto somigliante...anzi forse per niente... perciò forse dovrei solamente chiamarlo ' Un Ritratto' .... :-)



This was supposed to be a self portrait, but I am afraid it doesn't look very much like me, so maybe I should just call it  ' A Portrait' .... :-)
